The opening day of the season saw a fine performance from Park 17’s against a shell shocked Asdee side . Goals came from James Duggan 2 ,Feargal Ryan 2 , Ryan Dolan , Ferdia O’Brien , Segun Duyile , Luke Moynihan and Sean Dukes .On a lovely surface , some of the football played was good to see and well appreciated by all watching .
The squad included six lads still eligible for the under 16’s and combined with the experience of the 17 group this side should enjoy a good season . While all the lads played well , probably the outstanding player on the day was Ryan Dolan who caused Asdee problems all day long with his pace .
