Played on the great Astro pitch at Mounthawk Park, we got the perfect start when TJ raided down the left and from 40 yards left fly into the top right hand corner. This should have given us the confidence to get more but it was Fenit who reacted better and went ahead with two before the break. We started the second half much better and should have got a few only for the Fenit keeper being on his toes. With most of the possession we were caught on the break twice to let them increase their lead, but we never gave up and thanks to another strike from TJ and one each by Joe and Cillian, we were back level.
As the game drew to a finish we could have got the win only for some last ditch defending by Fenit. Overall, a good performance by all the squad on the day and our improvement is on an upward curve.
