On a beautiful saturday morning,the game between Park B got underway asJamel runs through with a ball from Conor Higgins but the keeper saves . The play went from end to end and then Conor Morrison was brought down outside the box Dylan Engel took the free kick and it went high towards the corner of goal but just went over the bar. Conor Higgins passes to Conor Morrison but is brought down and from the free kick Connor higgins heads wide.James O’Connor takes a corner and Josh Wadding heads in on 25 minutes to make it 1-0 Park ,but Killarney are soon on the attack and David Oba fails to hold the ball from a free kick and Killarney score 1-1.
The Park defence were playing a blinder with Edward O’sullivan , james O’Connor and Dean Scanlon clearing everything that came their way .Just before half time Conor Morrison was brought down in the box and he steps up to take his penalty and hits it high into the corner of the net to make it 2-1.Second half gets underway and Jamel makes a run through but the keeper saves. Dylan O’Shea playing his first game for the Park makes a save denying Killarney the chance of the equalizer.Edward heads the ball out to Shane Jordan who puts the ball through to and Dylan Engel puts a ball over the top of the Killarney players to David Oba who puts it through to John Ward who rounds the keeper to make it 3-1 Park .Jack O’Donoghue puts a cross through to David Oba and the keeper rushes out and brings him down penalty,he steps up to take it and hits it low into the net 4-1 the Park . The game flows with Park dominating the game and with a ball hit from the halfway line over the top of the killarney players John Ward gets hold of the ball beats the defender and once again rounds the keeper to put the ball in the back of the net for his second goal 5-1 Park. This was Park’s third win in a row to put us top of the table it was a hard fought game but the lads showed great determination and ended worthy winners well done to all the players who gave 100% .
