Great game but disappointing result:
Really lost for words, the player’s went out and were were looking great, we scored with Mervyn in the first seven minutes 1-0 but Listowel came straight back to equalize 1-1. We had many chances should have been 5-1 but wasn’t to be, Listowel’s keeper made some excellent saves as did Patrick, there was great passing from both teams, half time 1-1.
Second half again in the first 10 minutes of the second half Mervyn scored again 2-1 to Park but the game wasn’t over yet, again we had chances but not our day. Daniel and Tony on the left had a great game as did Brian, a little weakness in the defence in places but can be remedied. Junior came on as a Sub in midfield and was feeding the ball very well making excellent passes to make the chances,we were attacking again and again but Listowel then equalized again, both teams battled on but Park had the most chances but didn’t have the fitness as Listowel, Patrick made some great saves again in the second half and in the last 5 minutes Listowel scored 2 goals. Final Score 4-2.
Well done Lads heads up were not finished yet.
