An outstanding and surprising game, constant end-to-end. with non-stop action throughout. The boy’s played well and their passing was to form. We dominated the game to go 2-0 in front with Mark scoring the first goal and Carl the second with a penalty placed neatly into the bottom right corner.
Listowel came back scoring 2 goals in a 3 minute spell to leave it 2-2 at the break. In the second half Listowel scored again to make it 3-2 but the lads didn’t lose heart and battled on. Brian then scored with a 15 yard shot to equalize to make it 3-3. Listowel, fair play to them, came back and scored yet another to make it 4-3. The lads battled on with 5 minutes to go with Brian equalizing again to make the final score 4-4.
