The under 12 B season got off to a flying start with them taking all 3 points from their first competitive game in the league which was against the C team.
From the start the B team were on top with a lovely goal from Danny Graney in the first minute. After that the B team kept the pressure on by attacking throughout the first half adding another beautifully headed goal from Matt Healy and leading at half time by 3 goals to Nil having accepted an OG from the opposition.
In the second half which saw some outstanding performances from Danny Jeffers in midfield and Marcello on the left wing another 2 goals were added to the score sheet with another goal from Danny Graney and a cracker from Earnan Ferris who was introduced in the second half.
Only for the brilliant goalkeeping skills of Tadhg Reen in goal for the C team the B’s could have scored another a couple more with the chances that they created.
Ryan Guerin was solid in defence helping us to keep a clean sheet.
