Former St Brendan’s Park FC player Shane McLoughlin is set to be offered a professional contract with English Championship side Ipswich Town .
According to the Ipswich Town website Manager Mick McCarthy is to offer Shane a professional contract that will keep him at Postman Road for at least another season .
Shane has been capped for Ireland U18’s and is currently on a scholarship at Ipswich.
He joined the club from St Brendan’s Park in July 2013, signing a two-year scholarship with Ipswich. In April 2015, that scholarship was extended for the 2015-16 season.
