Reserve Cup 1/4 Final
The B team advanced to the semi-final with a fantastic win over local neighbours Classic FC tonight in Mounthawk Park. We fell behind after just 4 minutes after ex-Park player Timmy Lynch scored. But the lads fought hard and come half time we were 3-1 ahead thanks to goals from Graham O’ Leary and two from Aidan O’ Sullivan.
The second half saw us in total control and had it not been for poor finishing and the final pass we would have easily seen off the challenge of the opposition. Best on the night were David McLoughlin, Pa Fitzgibbon and Peter Williams. On to the semi-final we go with the opposition to be decided.
