Registration & training/match fees for 2016-2017 Season
Dear Player/Parent/Guardian
The Management Committee have decided that the Registration Fee
payable per each player for the coming season will be as follows:
1. €85 if paid in one sum by cash/cheque before 1st September next (we
are glad to announce that we decided to maintain the Registration Fee
at last season’s level. The fee also covers Registration with the
Kerry Schoolboys/Girls League , the Kerry District League and Player Insurance). The discounted Registration Fee for a second family member also remains at €50.
2. We are also pleased to advise that the Registration fee (increased
by €5 to cover administration costs) can now be paid in three
instalments as follows:
- €30 to be paid by 1st September next followed by;
- €30 to be paid by 1st October next followed by;
- €30 to be paid by 1st November next
The discounted Registration Fee for a second family member can be paid
in instalments of €10, €20 and €20 by the above dates.
Any person who wishes to pay by Standing Order from their Bank or
Credit Union account may do so by contacting the Club Registrar –
contact details below.
Please note that the Management Committee have decided that a player
is ineligible for selection if the Registration Fee is not paid in
full by 1st September or by the above three dates if paying by
instalments.
A Registration night will be held for each squad during the coming
weeks in advance of the first deadline on 1st September (on training
nights where possible). Team Managers will advise you of the details.
Two further Registration nights will be scheduled in advance of the
1st October and 1st November next to facilitate those who wish to pay
in instalments by cash/cheque.
Training/match fees
Up to now, these fees were usually €2 or €3 and collected at training
and match days.
However, our A.G.M. passed a proposal to replace this system with a
monthly charge of €20 per player. The Management Committee has
decided to collect this charge for seven months only – starting in
September and continuing until March – so the total cost per player is
€140. This will be used to pay electricity bills for the floodlights
in our all-weather pitch as well as Referee’s fees, kit-washes etc.
Please note that a player is ineligible to train if the training/match
fee is not paid in full by 1st September or by 1st monthly thereafter
if paying by instalments.
Once again, any person who wishes to pay by Standing Order may do so
by contacting the Club Registrar – contact details below.
The full training/match fee can also be paid at the upcoming
Registration nights in advance of the first deadline on 1st September.
Further nights will be scheduled in advance of the 1st monthly to
facilitate those who wish to pay in instalments by cash/cheque.
The Club is aware that the start of the football season coincides with
that time of the year which places a burden on family finances in
particular, but we believe that our fees are very good value for money
for the service we provide and compare favourably with those of other
sporting organisations. We also hope that the instalment option will
help.
Should you have any queries regarding this letter, please contact the
Club Registrar at the number below (outside office hours), or any
member of the Management Committee.
We look forward to your support in the season ahead.
Yours in Sport
