The park academy finished up for the winter today with a blitz against LB Rovers on a beautiful sunny morning at Christy Leahy Park. Both clubs enjoyed the morning and the players played with great skill and determination to make it a great occasion for all.
The highlight of the day was a great goal from Jack Daly scoring from his own box with a monster of a shot. Better than Beckham!
Thanks to LB Rovers for coming in to play us and thanks to the Park FC officials for all the hard work in getting 6 pitches ready for the blitz.
Players born in 2008 & 2009 can play out of season soccer on Saturdays throughout the winter on the Astro, kick off 11.50, finishes at 1pm. Parents can email the players name and a contact phone number to the coaches at satsoccer1@yahoo.com . See below a gallery of Photos from this morning.
