Game 2
Shield Semi-Final
Park FC 3 v 0 Aisling Annacotty
Park broke the hoodoo Annacotty had over them having lost to them in the last two seasons in national cup games . Annacotty could not cope with Parks high tempo passing game and when you have a strong spine to the team with James Rusk, Poga McCannon, JR and team captain James Sheehan you have a solid foundation to build on. Parks flying front three Leon and Mervin Shalemba and the killer instinct in front of goal by Sean McGrath will worry any opposition. A brace from Sean McGrath and the third from Leon Shalemba sent Park into shield final.Three players that deserve a mention are all u13’s Liam Tobin high performance on the left of midfield and Junior at centre half with the versatile Kevin Goulding doing the job anywhere across midfield.
Best for Park;Conor Hayes,Liam Tobin,Sean McGrath
Man of Match; James Rusk
