It was great to see Shane McLoughlin and his mum and Dad at the youth game today . Shane has now been over living in Ipswich since the summer on an initial two year deal and has settled in really well . Last week he scored twice in an under 16 game against Queens Park Rangers which Ipswich won 5-0 .
Talking to him today, he said that he was loving the life of a young aspiring footballer , that the training was hard but enjoyable and that his fitness levels were getting better everyday with full time training . He also said that he thinks Manchester United will win the Premiership this year and that Liverpool would struggle to finish in the top 6 .
Everyone connected with St Brendans Park and indeed everyone involved with soccer in Kerry wish Shane every success and will monitor his progress as he goes forward .
Good luck to Jesse Stafford Lacey this week over in England , we all wish the best for him .
