At 10;30 today we played Listowel away. This was a close encounter between the two sides with a single goal being the difference at the end.
Our players played very well and worked very hard. Patrick started the game at left back and captioned us, he had a great first half but unfortunately got injured at half time. After 6 corner attempts we finally got a goal from an Alfie cross.
The second goal we scored was a super strikers goal from Mervin, although he Is an u11 player he proved yesterday he can match up with the older players.
As i said already all players were great for us and a few were even better. Padraig and the 2 Conors were very good as were the James,s. Man match by a long way was Alfie, his determination to win the ball and cover all the pitch was outstanding. Sebastian gave a good display also working very hard for the team.
Thanks to Seamie who was ref, he did a fine job.
