Premier A : St Brendan’s Park 5-3 Rattoo Rovers .
We go joint top of the league with a game in hand with a hard earned 3 points today. It was by far our best performance of the season but it was a battling performance. With Rattoo starting the game with 10 men we found it hard to play our own game of passing and supporting each other. After 25 minutes we took the lead when Stephen o Sullivan headed home a Fergal Maunsell cross. This lead only lasted 10 minutes and stayed 1-1 to the half time mark only thanks to a fantastic save from Tommy Moriarty.
The second half saw us play with much more purpose and we went 2-1 up thanks to the head off Wayne Conway. Rattoo then equalised and soon went ahead 3-2 after some hesitation in our own box with 15 minutes left. Mark O Sullivan equalised with 10 minutes left after his initial header came back off the post he was hand to tap in the rebound.
In the 88th Minute Wayne Conway scored after some great work from Fergal Maunsell and David Conway. David Clifford finished the game off with our fifth in the 93rd minute when he rounded the Keeper to score.
