On a beautiful Saturday afternoon the game got underway,with the park mounting an attack down the Wing Alfie puts the ball through to Aaron but the keeper saves the shot. Conor Higgins gets the ball in midfield and takes it forward round a player and shoots but the keeper saves . Park are having a lot of play but shot after shot are being saved by the keeper. Castleisland get a free kick and the ball is floated into the penalty area there is a tussle in the area and referee awards penalty which Castleisland scored from . Conor O’Brien takes a free kick but the keeper saves it.Alfie takes the ball down the wing and the ball is cleared out as far as Culan who Volley’s it and the keeper pulls off another great save .jack heads the ball to Kevin but his shot goes wide. Casleisland are on the attack and run down the wing fire a low ball into the corner of the net 0-2 Casleisland.
Second half gets underway and Mirland takes the ball down the wing beats one player but then looses the ball Castleisland come forward again and the ball goes in the back of the net0-3 Castleisland. Nathan gets the ball down the wing passes to Aaron. Who rounds a player and shoots 1-3 Castleisland. Park are trying to make a comeback but Daniel gets the ball and crosses it in front of his goal and one of their forwards gets the ball 1-4 Castleisland . Straight from kickoff we get hold of the ball run through and make it 1-5. Conor O’Brien has a shot but the keeper saves ,Castleisland get a corner the ball comes in high to the back post but it isn’t contested and ends up in the net 1-6.Despite Park having several attacks the shots on target were saved by a very agile Castleisland keeper. Things aren’t going park’s way and with one last attack Castleisland manage to score again making the final score 1-7 .
