It was a good morning for a soccer match, Tralee Dynamos v St Brendans Park, Rivals like Man City V Man Utd.
Both the Teams were raring to go but it wasn’t going to be easy with the ground still wet from all the rain which would of made things heavy on the young legs playing soccer.
Park had Tip, ball passed around and a pass through to Mark broke free and was one on one with the Dynamos Keeper but Mark placed it straight into the keeper’s hands. Dynamo’s had the ball and Padraig was able with his skill to retrieve the ball passed the ball to Carl (Cj) who then followed through to Mark and Mark was on the attack again, this time Mark placed the ball into the top corner of the net 2 minutes into the game 1-0.
Dynamos went on the attack yet again but the Park Mid-Field and defence were to strong for the Dynamos and with some nice passing from the lads Samson took the ball up the field to Tony and with a nice shot at goal but saved by the keeper but the keeper couldn’t keep hold of it and Mark followed through and put the ball passed the keeper 2-0.
Both teams battle on and with a nice 25 yard strike from Tony the ball hit the cross bar to deny Tony his goal.Up and down the field the ball went both teams passing, Park took control of the game and with some nice passing from the lads Carl(Cj) placed it neatly into the goal 3-0. with 10 minutes to go Mark scored again to get his hatrick 4-0. Half time score 4-0
Second Half,
The Lads came out in the second half a little tired with the heaviness off the field but battled on with some nice shots from Tony on the Left wing but was not going to be Tony’s day. Tony crossed the ball over and was chested into the goal by Padraig but the Ref decided it was a hand ball. Dynamos had a couple of chances for goal but it wasn’t there day. Full time score 4-0.
